G.G.’s Jottings

Work:

My most exciting news is this new website! I am excited to be offering my new novella, Lord Basingstoke’s Downfall, for free to those who sign up for my G.G.’s Jottings newsletter.

When Lord Basingstoke reluctantly attends the engagement ball of his former commanding officer, he is definitely not looking for romance. His childhood sweetheart broke his heart for good when she married another while he was serving on the Peninsula, and now that he is home he must see to putting a dilapidated estate in order.
The animated Lady Leticia Lindsay has just had her heart bruised by a careless suitor and is looking forward to leaving London for her idyllic home in Lincolnshire. When Basingstoke and Lady Leticia meet

Koupit Viagru

, they have an odd conversation that leads to a surprising correspondence. Is it possible for two jaded people to fall in love through letters? And will such a tenuous relationship prevail when their previous loves reenter their lives?

I am also unveiling my new Classic Romance Club, a closed Facebook page for those who are interested in Classic Historical Romance. You can find out more about it by clicking the button above.

My newest full length novel Defiance is doing very well. You can read the first three chapters for free here.

Family

As usual, my grandchildren are my greatest delight.

I adore your work and have downloaded every regency that you have written. It is so nice to read clean but passionate regency romance. I love that I can trust the books you write to be that way. I love to read but Regency romance is my favorite read. Thanks and keep those great books coming.
I would love to read your free novella.

Geege Honey….You know what…your grandkids are so adorable and Henry IS absolutely a heartbreaker. Aren’t you glad that you are living close enough to play with him? I can’t believe how big Astrid has gotten since I saw the last picture you showed me or Buffys boys. Oh My Gosh….they have grow up so much. Love you bunches sweetie…!

I’ve followed your wesbite for a long time now and as a writer you’ve given some great advice for aspiring authors. I’ve always wanted to read your books but just never have. I know, shame on me. This is like asking which of your cats you like better, but what book would you suggest I read of yours to get me started? I love historical romance but I’m not big on erotica. I lean more towards clean romances but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t give it a try. I’m not a complete prude; I like Nora Roberts, Judith McKnight, and Phillipa Gregory.Oh you wanted a question, here is a question for a future blog: I like to write romance but I don’t feel comfortable writing the sex scenes, I’m wondering if there’s a market for clean romances? What genre would I even categories that? I guess the better question for you is how you write erotica. Do you find it easy to write in the erotica genre? Does that genre sell better? I’m getting carried away with my questions but you get the idea, I want to read and learn from your awesome skills, what would you suggest?

You would probably enjoy Not An Ordinary Baronet for a clean romance with a bit of suspense. If you like pure romance, Lord Grenville’s Choice is another good one.
