Balkan Echo, the third book in the series is still on pre-order. It will be released on December 4th. It is written on a much larger “canvas” than the previous two books, and my beta readers tell me it is the best of the three. You can read the first chapter HERE.

This month David and I attended a 5-day writing workshop in Las Vegas. It was outstanding, focusing on the business side of writing. A lot of it was over my head, tech-wise, but fortunately, David was there to note it and translate for me! I have also been taking a workshop online, learning how to use Amazon Marketing Systems. Also, WAY over my head. David and I have been working together on this. I really love writing and can’t imagine my life without it, but I am so grateful to David for managing the business side of things for me!

Family:

Well, another Halloween has come and gone. Natey (6) was a big hit in his Justin Turner costume. Of course, he was very sad about the Dodgers losing the World Series. We are all in mourning that the season has ended and we have to wait until March for Spring Training.

Henry (5) and Vika (1) were a firefighter and a lion, respectively. We have started a poetry-reading (by David) and Herb Tea session on Wednesday afternoons. I had forgotten how much fun children’s poetry is and how I like to hear David recite it.

Fun:

I love this time of year, and with the cooler days and early sunsets, I always want to curl up with a blanket and a good book. Check on my Bookbub Profile Here for everything I’ve been reading lately. There have been some fantastic reads!

We are looking forward to spending time with our California family this holiday season. Having produced four books this year, I am ready for a change of pace. And if there’s one thing in life I can count on, it’s that visiting the California grandkids is A CHANGE OF PACE!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
